Grabbed a copy of the vinyl for Ben Nichols' "The Last Pale Light In The West" while I was in the Sabot office yesterday. Orange vinyl. Looks amazing. Reminds me of playing on the Revival Tour and what a fun time that was. This is a great record, Ben really captured something. I'm not sure when Jordan is announcing a pre-sale but definitely worth grabbing a copy when it's out.

Oh man, I remember bartending back in the day when Ben and the boys would play at Big Daddy's on Tennessee Street...ironically the name of their album at the time was Tennessee.

You know what really drives me crazy? I can't EVER search Against Me! without pulling up Britney Spears songs. Dammit. She just keeps coming out with more songs with against me in the title.

That album becomes 169% better when you've read Blood Meridian. The whole album is about characters in the book. For that matter, the book becomes better once you've heard the album as well.

Not related to that sweet band right there, but more to the sweet band that you're in, which is quite literally one of the main reasons I learned how to play guitar, started playing in a band, got into punk rock, started playing in a good band, and went on tour for the first time. Thank you, Tom Gabel. From 7th grade until my current senior year of high school, Against Me! has always been my favorite musical act. I really hope I'll be able to meet you personally when you play in KC in March. It'll be my first Against Me! show to boot.
