I'm not sure if you listened to White Lies' album Death, but it's pretty stellar. It's not too late to change the list man!
I'd have Teenage Bottlerocket, Propagandhi, Cobra Skulls, American Steel, and definitely that Dead to Me album. I'm not sure what else...

Seems odd to me. Your band is going in a more poppy direction, and now I find out you like these poppy bands... Depressing to me, Anyhow, the mountain goats kick ass.
Solid list. Though I'm going to have to agree with everyone else and call you out for not having every single punk album that came out in 2009 on this list.

Anyway, great list. Nothing like mine, I couldn't really get into the new Dead to Me. In fact, the only record we have in common is the Future of the Left record, but I'll be checking out most of this list.

I like the inclusion of the raveonettes, whose album and live show was a lot of fun this year but destined to be overlooked by people put off by Vice records. future of the left and the horrors had great ones this too.
Good to see you keep listening to great records while most people want you to only listen to stuff made on a cassette recorder and pots and pans and sticks.

Interesting show in San Jose last night. Last show I had a chance to see was last year at Night So Silent Night.
can't complain about this list and definitely don't think Sainthood should be on it - one band i might add is Bonus Eventus, their album Canaceros was definitely one of the bests of 09
